Palo Alto Property Management: How To Qualify A Tenant

It is important to take the time to find a good tenant. After all, a poor tenant can prove to be more costly in the long run than an empty home. Finding a qualified tenant is not always easy, but if you are consistent and do not let go of your approval requirements you should be fine.

Every landlord has a different set of standards, but generally you want to cover the following steps:

1) Credit Check   2) Verification of Renters Information 3) Landlord and Employment Verification

Here at DWM Properties once we show the property to the prospective tenant, we ask them to fill out and complete a rental application. Generally, a well-formatted application will include important personal information on the renter in order to help conduct necessary background checks.
